Lunatelia Berrywhistle led a rather mundane existence as an unfiltered, struggling twenty-six-year-old singer and musician, her handful of friends were mere online-friends and she otherwise lived a rather lonely life. As her birthday rolled around she was caught off guard by the ringing of her doorbell. To her surprise, her cyber friends had conspired to send her a mysterious gift box. Amidst laughter and reminiscing, Luna was instructed to wait until after the call to open her present. In the quiet that followed, Luna tore into the box, unearthing a mysterious Ouija board. Curiosity piqued, she began toying with the archaic device, unwittingly inviting a malicious spirit into her realm. The next day, Lunatelia is making coffee like any other day, when a careening vehicle burst through her home, killing her instantly upon impact. Her spirit, however, did not ascend to the afterlife, but rather plummeted into a hellish dimension of fire and brimstone – a wasteland teeming with supernatural beings, shapeshifters, demons, myths and legends and manifestations of popular boogeymen from Earth. If this infernal realm wasn't disorienting enough, Luna soon discovered she had been imbued with strange new abilities, including the power to shapeshift into a formidable lioness. Her tumultuous arrival drew the attention of none other than Asmodeus Axton Starling-Lucifer himself, the demonic King of the Underworld, locked in eternal battle with his celestial brethren across the Seven Hells. As Luna begins to settle into her new normal, she found herself an unwitting pawn in the ageless conflict between Asmodeus and the heavenly forces; angels and God. The fallen angel's mysterious motivations and the true nature of his unholy dominion, however, remained inscrutable. Luna's harrowing journey was only beginning.
